BACK TO KEATS

The kids and I went back to Keats last week for a visit and a sleepover. I brought over my last can of coke zero, some refried beans, 5 tortillas, 1 apple, the last of our milk and 3 yoghurt tubes (was in need of groceries).

We swam, played, swung, read books, built lego boats, made a Barbie haunted house roller coaster ride, walked up to the camp, bought a creamsicle at the Mariner's Inn...

Keats is also the place where I catch up on my design and decor magazine reading, do some laundry, bathe and charge the batteries to the jeep, phone, computer and camera.

If I'm lucky, Candiss also makes me warm milk cake (which she did).

21. PAINT ROCKS

Done.

We have lots of painted rocks. Lots and lots of them. Painted driftwood too. Will even painted the deck and lounge chairs and my i phone...

PRESCHOOL BESTIES

Sam's bestie from preschool came to Pasley with his family for the day. They were impressively spontaneous, and they brought us up some burgers (fresh buns), cold root beers, chips and watermelon. It was awesome.

And later that day: the kids and our island neighbours, hot chocolate face smeared, getting around Pasley style...

46. PLAY WITH COUSINS

Done.

2 of the cousins came up to Pasley for a little visit. There were a few incidences (nail in the foot, shell wound on the leg, strange noises heard outside the tent to name a few), but in all it was a lovely visit.

Will had troubles eating his dessert.

Paper umbrellas make any drink "fancy."

Evening swim.

Puff pancake for breakfast, of course.

Will wakes up from his nap.

And more swimming...

FRIENDS

Something that warms my heart: my kids being friends with my friend's kids...

#37 VISIT FRIENDS ON OTHER ISLANDS

Done.

We boated over to Keats Island and visited our besties.

And I also got to take some pictures of some other people/children besides my own (who are tiring of the camera...except for Clara, who continues to jump in front of the camera as I press the shutter).

And one last dock jumping shot. I love this one...
