GRETCH AND HER BOYS
Dear Josh and Gretch. I miss you guys already! I have decided to move to Halfmoon Bay and live somewhere walking distance to your house. We can work out the kinks (like Jake's job).
SATURDAY
Some things I love about Saturday.
Getting out of bed on my own terms, wearing my jammies, eating puff pancakes, sipping coffee on the couch while watching Magic School Bus with my kids. Building forts, playing games, cuddles and tickles on the floor...

TODAY...IN NUMBERS
- 5...number of times I warmed up my coffee in the microwave this morning (and still never drank it)
- 4...number of times Jake has said "your hair is very short" (just got it cut last night)
- 7...number of times Sam asked me what the last number is (I told him infinity which was all the more confusing)
- 6...number of times I swept up some sort of mess Will created on the floor
- 4...number of times Clara has asked for some milk
- 1...number of times Kirby got a loaf of bread off the counter and then ate it (had to sweep up that mess too)
- 32...number of times Sam yelled out "what button do I press!" or "can you help me!" with his online maze game (he is relentless)
- 5...number of times I had to go to Clara's room at bedtime and cater to a request
I took a photo break today. Apparently Sam is done with the camera. This is him yesterday telling me as much...

DEAR RHONDA AND CHRIS
Dear Rhonda and Chris, thank you for letting me take some pictures of you and your boys. I love that by the end of the session, Tristan had 3 big chocolate bars coming to him! This was so much for me and it was so nice to see your lovely family again. Here are some of my favourites from our morning together...

SCHOOL FOREST
Me and the boys playing in the forest, waiting for the sister to finish school. As you can see, Sam wears his pajamas (also his Halloween costume) when we leave the house. Interestingly, they are also his only pair of jammies without a hole in the knee.
JUST A FEW MORE
Just a few more Halloween pictures before I move on to Christmas.
The family across the street from us invited the kids and I to a fabulous Halloween party. When we arrived, the husband commented that he was impressed that we were actually wearing shoes. I think we have a reputation for always being barefoot here in the neighbourhood (I don't think that is necessarily good). Anyway, I was relieved that they had a party, because quite frankly, I think I did a miserable job this year getting into the Halloween spirit. At best we hung some ghosts in our tree, carved a couple of pumpkins and had monster toes for lunch. But I have decided that I'm going to make up for it for Christmas. I'm going ALL out!!
I know I have posted a lot of Clara as Pocahontas, but she was giving me some really good serious, big eyed looks that day.

PRACTICING POSTING BIG PICTURES...BEAR WITH ME
Just spent the past 2 hours trying to figure out how to post bigger pictures. I think I figured it out!
Although I thought I deleted my blog at one point (very traumatizing...I may of even cried a bit) and it is a whole lot of fiddly work to make each image big. HTML is not my strength apparently.
(And now it seems my blog banner doesn't seem to fit into the space above. Can you fix this mom?)
